Paul serves as Vice President of Legal and Senior Compliance Officer of Hennessy Funds.

Prior to joining Hennessy in 2024, Paul was a corporate attorney with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and Baker Botts L.L.P. where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. Paul began his career with Ernst & Young as an auditor and held various positions with EIG Global Energy Partners, a private investment fund group in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Paul received a BA and MSA in Accounting from James Madison University and a JD from George Washington University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a licensed attorney.
