The Hennessy Equity and Income Fund is sub-advised by The London Company (TLC) and Financial Counselors, Inc. (FCI). TLC manages the 60% equity allocation of the portfolio, while FCI manages the 40% fixed income allocation of the portfolio.

Stephen M. Goddard, CFA
Lead Portfolio Manager
Steve is the Managing Director and Founder of The London Company, and heads the firm’s investment committee. He has over 25 years of investment experience, beginning his career as an analyst in 1985 for Scott & Stringfellow, followed by Senior Portfolio Management positions at CFB Advisory and Flippin, Bruce & Porter. Steve also worked as the Chief Investment Officer for the Tredegar Trust Company until he founded The London Company in 1994.
Steve received a BA in Economics from Virginia Military Institute and his MBA from the University of Richmond. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, member of the Richmond Society of Financial Analysts, and a former Board member of the Virginia Asset Management Investment Corporation.
Jonathan T. Moody, CFA
Jonathan is a Principal, Portfolio Manager, and a member of The London Company’s investment committee. Prior to joining The London Company in 2002, he founded Primary Research Group. He started his career at Woodward and Associates in 1986, followed by Analyst/Portfolio Manager positions at Piedmont Capital and Crestar Asset Management (now Trusco). Jonathan also worked at BB&T Capital Markets. Jonathan received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Virginia Military Institute and performed his graduate studies in Biomedical Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Brian J. Campbell, CFA
Brian is a Portfolio Manager and a member of The London Company’s investment committee. He started his career as an equity analyst at INVESCO-National Asset Management. Prior to joining TLC, Brian was a Portfolio Manager and the Director of Research at Hilliard Lyons Capital Management.
Brian received a BBA in Finance from the University of Kentucky and his MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, and he is a CFA charter holder and a member of the CFA Society of Louisville.
Mark E. DeVaul, CFA, CPA
Mark is a Portfolio Manager and a member of The London Company’s investment committee. Mark began working in public accounting before embarking on a career in equity research. Before joining The London Company, Mark spent four years as an equity research analyst with First Union Securities and Salomon Smith Barney, followed by over eight years with Nuveen Investments.
Mark received a BS in Accounting from Liberty University and his MBA from the University of Notre Dame, and he is a CFA charter holder and member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia. Mark is also a licensed CPA.
Financial Counselors, Inc. is an independently owned investment adviser headquartered in Kansas City, MO. The firm was founded in 1966, and the portfolio management team brings 20 plus years of average portfolio management experience.
Gary B. Cloud, CFA
Gary is a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager of FCI and has managed the fixed income portion of the Hennessy Equity and Income Fund since 2007. He joined FCI in 2003 and serves as a member of the Fixed Income Investment Committee and the Value Equity Committee. Gary began his investment career in 1986 working in the secondary marketing department of a mortgage banking company and that experience with mortgage backed securities led him to Bank One Corporation, where he spent 10 years in a variety of consumer lending, asset acquisition and portfolio management roles.
Gary received a BA from Bowling Green State University and his MBA from the University of Dayton, and he is member of the Kansas City CFA Society and the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute.
Peter G. Greig, CFA
Peter is a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager of FCI and has managed the fixed income portion of the Hennessy Equity and Income Fund since 2007. He joined FCI in 1989 as a Trader and fixed income Analyst. He chairs FCI’s Fixed Income Investment Committee.
Peter received a BS from the University of Kansas and his MBA from Indiana University, and he is a member of the Kansas City CFA Society and the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute.
